During my time studying for my bachelor of audio degree at SAE, I've had numerous musical adventures in regards to recording, editing, mixing and mastering. In early trimesters I recorded an acoustic song for an indie Sydney-based band called Last Thursday, as well as some tracks for a Wollongong metal band, Reaper. Later, I wrote lyrics and recorded both the vocalist and ambiences for a "dark psychedelic jazz" piece. The latter trimesters were the musical highlights, where I organised for a string arrangement of Bastille's song "Flaws" to be written, then held rehearsals, researched capturing techniques then proceeded to record the first string quintet on SAE Chippendale campus, later overdubbing vocalists. This song can be heard below or on my Soundcloud.

Described as "foley god" by other members during group assignments, after being introduced to the area of post-production I fell in love with it, and changed my major to post-production. Using predominately foley, I replaced all of the sound and even recorded a grand piano with a triple stereo microphone set up for a four minute clip from the movie "Fantastic Mr Fox." I also worked on replacing sound for a two minute clip from "Fantastic Beasts and where to find them," sticking to the fantastic theme, where I voiced both the male characters and created nearly all the SFX myself including magical creature sound design. I also helped with on-set sound for the dual-episode film "Processed," as well as a music edit for another dual-episode film "Frame of Mind." I also had a voice cameo as an ambulance call responder in the short noir film "Untitled."

Receiving a high-distinction for my final major project, came from myself and two other students forming APUG (the Audio Production Unit for Games). We provided all the foley, SFX, ambience, atmosphere, dialogue and music assets for six video games, all differing from one another in genre. All of them are available via our website

I composed 8 original compositions for the games just myself, and even sourced a medieval reenactment knight to come into the studio to record real armour movement sounds. Due to our superior organising, I was also able to take on a solo project of producing all the audio assets for application extension of the student card game "Butchery," available for free on the google play store.
